Christian Science Visiting Nurse Service, London Field (CSVNS)

Fees and Funding
Patients are required to pay only what they can reasonably afford to pay towards their Christian Science nursing care fees. Grants are available from The Aid Fund for Christian Scientists in Need of Nursing Care and the Hawthorne Trust Benevolent Fund. A patient’s financial status is not a factor in assessing applications for Christian Science nursing care, in fact there are no references to a prospective patient’s financial affairs on the Application Form and no one will ask an applicant about his/her finances. Invoices are rendered weekly and reflect the level of Christian Science nursing care provided.

An Aid Fund Grant Application Form will be included in the patient’s first invoice for completion and return to Charton Manor with their contribution.

Scale of Charges (inclusive of call-out fee)

1^st hour 1½ hours 2 hours 2½ hours 3 hours 3½ hours 4 hours	£25.00 £30.00 £36.00 £42.00 £48.00 £54.00 £60.00		Plus £10.00 per hour, travelling time and expenses
Sleep-over	£45.00		plus travel and nursing expenses
